- The Mulltiply apps (including "Mulltiply", MulltiplyR (Buyer), and MulltiplyD (Seller/Sales workforce)),
- Any websites we operate (including mulltiply.com), and

- Business records you enter: orders, invoices, quotes, SKUs, inventory, pricing, ledger/collections, payroll/attendance, expense notes, images, and notes.
- Support & communications: messages, email, attachments, and feedback sent to us.
3.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device & usage: IP address, device identifiers, OS/app version, browser, language, time zone, diagnostics, crash logs, in-app actions, and referral/UTM data.

3.3 Location Data (including Precise & Background)
- We may collect precise location (via GPS, Wi-Fi, and cell triangulation) when you enable location permissions.
- MulltiplyD (Seller/Sales workforce app): If your organisation enables salesforce tracking, you explicitly permit the app to collect and process location data while the app is in use and, where configured, in the background.
Purpose: salesperson routing and attendance, beat/route optimisation, visit verification, Proof of Visit/Delivery, geo-fencing, and service quality.
Controls: you can change OS-level permissions; however, disabling required location permissions may limit or disable MulltiplyD features and may affect settlements or compliance workflows that depend on location proofs (see T&C §3.3 and FBM Addendum).
3.4 Voice/Call Recordings (Support & Sales)
- With notice and to the extent permitted by applicable law, we may record or store audio of calls/voice notes between Salespeople and Retailers and/or between users and Mulltiply support.
Purpose: quality assurance, training, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, and to improve service levels.
Notice/consent: you may receive a pre-call prompt/beep/IVR message; by continuing the call you consent to recording. If you do not consent, please end the call and use alternative channels (e.g., email or chat).
Controls: recording may be enabled/disabled by your organisation's admin for MulltiplyD. Some features (e.g., dispute workflows) may require recordings.
3.5 Payments & Financials
- Payment instrument tokens (as returned by gateways), transaction IDs, settlement status, and limited bank details you provide for settlements/refunds (stored/handled by our PCI-compliant processors where applicable).
3.6 Contacts, Camera, Microphone, Storage, SMS (Permissions)
- With your permission, we may access contacts (to send invoices/collect payments), camera (scan labels/POD, upload product images), microphone (voice notes/calls), storage (export/import files), SMS (OTP autofill). Denying essential permissions may limit functionality.
3.7 Information from Third Parties

2. Process payments/settlements and manage refunds/chargebacks (via third-party processors/escrow) (see T&C §3.3).
3. Verify identity & compliance (KYC/AML/sanctions) and to prevent fraud/abuse (see T&C §2.6, §5, §4.3).
4. Salesforce & delivery operations (MulltiplyD): attendance/beat plans, precise location for routing/visit verification/POD; call/voice recordings for QA, training, and dispute resolution.
5. Customer support: diagnose issues, respond to requests, and improve reliability.
6. Safety & integrity: security monitoring, incident response, and enforcing the T&C.
7. Analytics & product improvement: usage trends, A/B testing, feature performance.
8. Marketing & communications: service notices, feature updates, lawful marketing (you can opt out of marketing; service-critical messages will continue).
9. Legal: comply with law, enforce agreements, and respond to lawful requests.
Processing necessity: Some processing (e.g., fraud prevention, payments, logistics facilitation, POD, service communications) is necessary to deliver the services. If you withhold permissions or required data, some features will not function, and access may be restricted per the T&C.
5) Legal Bases (where required)
Depending on your jurisdiction, we rely on one or more of the following:
- Contract necessity (to provide the Platform/features you request).
- Legitimate interests (e.g., security, fraud prevention, analytics, product improvement, internal reporting).
- Consent (e.g., marketing, precise/background location, voice/call recordings, access to contacts/microphone/camera/SMS where required). You can withdraw consent at any time; this won't affect processing already performed, but may limit features.
- Legal obligation (e.g., KYC/AML, tax, lawful requests).
6) Sharing & Disclosures
We may share information with:
- Affiliates (Mulltiply, Inc. and Mulltiply India) for operations consistent with this Policy.

- Business transfers: as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or asset sale with appropriate safeguards.
We do not sell your personal information. We may use aggregated/anonymised data for statistics and product improvement.
7) International Transfers
Your data may be processed and stored in the United States, India, or other locations where we or our providers operate. We use reasonable contractual, technical, and organisational safeguards for cross-border transfers as required by applicable law.
8) Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards (e.g., encryption in transit, access controls, segmented environments, monitoring). No system is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a data incident, we will notify you and/or regulators as required by law.
9) Retention
We keep data only as long as necessary for the purposes in this Policy, to comply with law, and to resolve disputes. Typical operational retention periods include:
- Account & business records: for the life of the account plus a reasonable period (e.g., statutory limitation period).
- Location logs (MulltiplyD): retained for the operational period set by your organisation's admin and/or our internal policy; ordinarily up to 12 months unless required longer for fraud, disputes, or legal obligations.
- Voice/call recordings: ordinarily up to 180 days, unless needed longer for QA, disputes, or legal obligations.
- Payment/settlement records: per statutory retention and processor requirements.
Where feasible, we will anonymise or aggregate data when retention in identifiable form is no longer necessary.
10) Your Choices & Controls
- App permissions: you can change device permissions (location, microphone, camera, contacts, storage, SMS). Disabling required permissions may limit features.
- Location (MulltiplyD): OS settings allow "Never", "Ask", "While Using", or "Always" (wording varies). Some MulltiplyD features require precise and/or background location; without it, related features won't work.
- Marketing: opt out from emails using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us (service notices will continue).
- Access/Correction/Deletion: you may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information, subject to legal/contractual limits and our legitimate interests (e.g., fraud prevention, record-keeping).
- Consent management: withdraw consent for optional processing (e.g., marketing, recordings where optional) by contacting us; feature access may be impacted.
For requests, email [email protected] (see §15).

13) Failure to Provide Data / Consent
Certain uses of personal data (including marketing) require consent. Where processing is essential for the Platform (e.g., payments, security, POD/location for MulltiplyD operations, lawful recordings), declining or withdrawing consent may result in limited functionality, suspension of specific features, or termination consistent with the T&C.
14) Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Platform after changes means you accept the revised Policy (see T&C §1.3).
